Downgrade iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6, iOS 5.1.1 Firmware

Downgrade iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6, iOS 5.1.1 Firmware: Is it really possible to downgrade your iPhone, iPad or iPod touch iOS 6.0.1 firmware to the lower versions of iOS firmware. We will discuss here the possibilities of downgrading iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6, iOS 5.1.1 or iOS 5.x.x firmware. iOS 6.0.1 firmware released two days back and now Apple has stop signing the older version i.e. iOS 6 firmware.

ios6-0-1 downgrade to iOS 6 or iOS 5.1.1

Famous iOS hacker MuscleNerd and majority of other people have claimed RedSn0w is now reporting no fresh “new” SHSH blobs, meaning Apple has stopped signing iOS 6.0 just few hours after the release of iOS 6.0.1 firmware. We previously posted about saving the iOS 6 SHSH blobs and send it to the Cydia servers for future downgrade purpose. Those users who are quick enough to save iOS 6 SHSH blobs are in better place for downgrading to iOS 6 firmware via latest Redsn0w.

If you were not quick enough to save your iOS 6 SHSH blobs for your iPhone, iPod touch or iPad then you are unfortunately out of luck because without iOS 6 SHSH blobs it is not possible to downgrade to iOS 6 firmware. Now it highly advised to save your iOS 6.0.1 SHSH blobs for future use. iPhone Dev team will also soon release an update about downgrading iOS 6.0.1 to iOS 6, iOS 5.1.1 firmware. We will keep you updated as we hear more about it so stay tuned for more updates.
