How To Fix iTunes Error 3194,Error 3200,Error 1015 & Error1604

 How To Fix Error 6:

Some security software might be causing this problem, try re-installing latest version of iTunes.

How To Fix Error 9, 1604, 2000-2009:

These error might occur due to your device was unplugged during the install, use a 2.0 USB port on your computer, and install the current iOS firmware.

 How To Fix Error 14:

Re-install current iOS, DO NOT JAILBREAK, then update.

 How To Fix Error 20:

Place your device in DFU mode, then install.

 How To Fix Errors 23, 28, 29, 1011, 1012, 1611:

Hardware bug, dropped it?  Try restoring to non-beta iOS.

 How To Fix Error 1015:

Apple does not allow downgrades, install current iOS.

 How To Fix Error 3200 :

Put the device in DFU mode to fix the error.

 How To Fix Error 3194:

Error 3194 occurs due to you are trying to restore to a firmware which is not signed (authorized) by Apple anymore or you don’t have the SHSH blobs saved in Cydia server. You host file might be pointing either Apple server or Cydia server. To fix this error you have to update your host files.


On Apple OSX:

  • Open Terminal (Click Spotlight, or press Command+Space. Now type terminal.)
  • In Terminal type, ‘sudo pico /etc/hosts‘, press Enter.
  • Insert
  • Press Ctrl+X, then Y to save.
  • Type ’sudo niload -v -m hosts . < /etc/hosts’, press Enter Type ‘lookupd -flushcache’, press Enter.

On Microsoft Windows 7 / Vista

  • Go to  Start -> All Programs -> Accessories.
  • Right click “Notepad” and select “Run as administrator”
  • Click Yes on the UAC prompt.
  • Click File -> Open.
  • Change the file filter drop down box from “Text Documents (*.txt)” to “All Files (*.*)”.
  • Browse to “C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc”.
  • Select “hosts” and click “Open”.
  • Insert
  • Close Notepad. Click Save when prompted.

How To Fix Errors 3000-3999, 3004, 9807:

These errors may occur due to internet based bugs, flush DNS, check your online status, Server overloaded or low WiFi connection? Try to use wired connection.
